The Jupiler Pro League (BEL1) (Belgian Pro League) is the top league in the Belgian football association. At the end of the 2026-2027 season, the BEL1 holds a Championship Playoff and a Europa League Playoff. Playoff results determine which teams qualify for the following non-league play:

The BEL1 expand from 16 to 18 teams for the 2026-2027 season, so no teams were "automatically" relegated after the 2025-2026 season.

During the 2026-2027 regular season, each BEL1 team plays Home-Away matches against the other 17 BEL1 teams for 34 total matches per team. Table ranking ties are broken by (1) matches won, (2) goal difference, (3) total goals scored, (4) away matches won, (5) away goal difference, (6) away goals scored, then (7) a playoff.

Relegation

At the end of the 2026-2027 BEL1 season, the 17th and 18th place BEL1 teams will be relegated to BEL2.
