The winner of the 2026 Indian Super Cup, potentially an IND1 team, also receives a berth in the Playoff Stage of the 2027 AFC Champions League 2.

Season Format
Each IND1 team plays one match with each of the other 13 IND1 teams for a total of 13 league matches per team. Table ranking ties are broken by (1) goal difference, (2) total goals scored, (3) head-to-head points, (4) head-to-head goal difference, (5) head-to-head goals scored, (6) Fair-play ranking, then (7) a drawing.
Playoffs
Not applicable.
Relegation
At the end of the 2025-2026 IND1 the 14th place IND1 team will be relegated to the IND2.
