2028 CAF Confederation Cup:
- 3rd place 2026-2027 MAR1 team

The winner of the 2027-2028 Moroccan Throne Cup, typically a MAR1 team, also receives a berth in the 2028 CAF Confederation Cup.

Season Format

Each MAR1 team plays Home-Away matches with the other 15 MAR1 teams for a total of 30 league matches. Table ranking ties are broken by (1a) head-to-head goal difference (if 2 teams have have equal points), (1b) goal difference (if more than 2 teams have equal points), (2) total wins, (3) goals scored, then (4) a playoff.

Relegation

At the end of the 2026-2027 MAR1 season, the 15th and 16th place MAR1 teams will be relegated to the MAR2, and the 13th and 14th place MAR1 teams will enter into relegation playoffs with the 3rd and 4th place MAR2 teams.
