The winner of the 2019 Kuwait Emir Cup, typically an KUW1 team, also receives a berth in the Group Stage of the 2020 AFC Cup.

Season Format
Each KUW1 team plays Home-Away matches with the other 9 KUW1 teams for a total of 18 league matches. Table ranking ties are broken by (1) head-to-head points, (2) head-to-head goal difference, (3) head-to-head goals scored, (4) total goal difference, then (5) total goals scored.
Playoffs
Not applicable.
Relegation
At the end of the 2018-2019 Regular season, the 9th and 10th place KUW1 teams will be relegated directly to the KUW2.
